Wood burning and multi-fuel inset convectors and cassettes. Efficient and easy to use.Inset or built-in stoves are a popular choice, particularly where space is limited, or a minimal design is sought. Many inset stoves are modern in design and look equally good in modern or period style homes. All these inset stoves can be integrated into a feature fireplace or a traditional fire surround. These stoves can be inserted into a standard British fireplace opening with the minimum of building work, usually with a chimney liner for added performance and efficiency. As well as their impressive designs, most of these inset or built-in stoves have advanced technical features, such as air wash, which continually cleans the fire window to give an uninterrupted view of the flames and create a warm glow in the room. Secondary combustion is a sophisticated technique designed to control the air flow in and around the combustion chamber where pre-heated air is injected above the fire, increasing the stove efficiency and beauty of the flame effects.
Feature Fireplaces also supplies Tortoise convector fireboxes for homes in North Somerset, Bristol and Bath. Convector fire boxes burn either wood or solid fuel, and can also be installed into a standard British chimney opening. Convector fireboxes are open fires, unlike glass fronted stoves, and harness convected heat which is transferred into the living room. This gives an efficiency at least twice that of an ordinary open fire.
Built-in or inset stoves and convector fireboxes are available in a wide selection of both traditional and contemporary designs. You can see a selection of the designs available by clicking on the links above or visiting our showroom, just 5 minutes drive from Junction 21 of the M5.
For homes in the Somerset, Feature Fireplaces offer a full consultation service. We also provide an expert installation service, regardless of whether your home has an existing chimney. All work is carried out by fully qualified personnel to deliver the best stove solution for your home.
