Unlike many other logs sold in nets, all Certainly Wood is hardwood, i.e. from trees that lose their leaves in the winter. The main species used are oak, ash, beech, birch, poplar, sycamore, cherry and alder. Harvested on their UK farmland, the wood is dried using heat from waste clearings, so a very carbon efficient way of using wood.
