Cassette stove with stonework and joinery
A built-in stove with hot air ducted to other parts of the house, with extensive stonework and oak joinery.

From an initial concept sketch we prepared detailed drawings :

The stove was installed outside the original chimney breast and flue relocated. Two hot air ducts from the Barbas Escamo stove heat the study behind and the main bedroom upstairs.

  • Arched log store in the original chimney breast. The stone features were carefully detailed and pointed with a lime mortar
  • A heavy oak mantel was designed and fitted;
  • Storage box with an oak lid for kindling and lighting materials;
  • Marble hearth almost flush with the carpet.

The end result is a unique and stylish fireplace and stove, which functions efficiently and effectively.
