Dru's Saxo Slimline is a two-sided, glass fronted fire designed to fit into a corner. Two sizes, the 70 and 80 are available, the 80 having a larger window and and a higher heat output for larger living rooms. It has a highly realistic log fire display set against an interior of black, polished steel.
The Saxo is a balanced flue gas fire. This system, which was originally developed by Dru, enables the fire to be installed without the need for a conventional chimney. It also features the patented Dru Vario Burner System®, which provides an authentic flame pattern close to that of real log fire, underpinned by a beautiful glow all around the hearth.
Normally these fires are built into a customised corner design in heat resistant materials. For a three sided view of the fire, look at the DRU Scenic. There is also the option of the exclusive DRU ‘Lux’ lighting kit, which extends the warm glow of the fire right up to the ceiling.
