Piazzetta 2 sided Firebox

This large project required the dismantling of a chimney breast in a large farmhouse to install this impressive firebox. A counter-balanced vertical sliding door allows easy refuelling, and the high capacity of the fire heats the house from a ready supply of firewood available on the farm.

This projects has opened up and linked 2 rooms, created a warm heart to this home, and made it a lot easier to heat the house with local and natural resources.

The finishing details on the fireplace include natural limestone slips and hearth, detailed identically on both sides of the fireplace.
