Rebuilt Fireplace with Stove

Rebuilt Fireplace with Stove

Replacement of a rough stone fireplace, that dominated a relatively narrow room.

Building Modifications to a 1950's house with a small 20" fireplace opening, made of rough stone projecting into the room. We removed the old fireplace, and, with a large chimney breast in solid masonry, enlarged the chamber opening to take a Stovax Huntingdon 28 stove, in green enamel.

The job was finished off with a shelf designed to complement the house and room design.
